IN THE KOREAN ALPHABET, WHEN S and I ARE PUT TOGETHER, THEY’RE PRONOUNCED AS ‘SHI’. For example: Shindong, it is spelled (in Hangul) as SINDONG.
So it’s SHIsus, SHIhan,SHIchul,SHIhanchul, SHIabs, SHIbrows, etc…
Oh, and EU (as in EUNHYUK or…
I have a hard time explaining that to my classmates who are now beginning to be kpop fans. -___-
